Sluggish ecomony, country at war, 2.2 million jobs lost in the past 1 1/2
years, I could go on, it seem sgloomy sometimes but cheer your ass up, as it
is a great time to take advantage of some great buys in American Motors
built vehicles. The "glut" of cars not is only AMC but all across the board,
and has been for some time. Who knows when it will perk up, even mortgage
rates fell to a all time low this week. So if you are looking for a classic
AMC built vehicle, keep your goals high, there are plenty of cars to choose
from unless you are like some of the folks who contact me looking for a
limited specialty vehicle like Rebel Machine, SC/Rambler or a few others.
Not a whole lot of those models exist after 30 years, (I still say less than
300 exist of the SC/Rambler and 300-400 Rebel Machines exist, not a high
total on either) but other models that were popular and sold in higher
numbers are indeed abundant in all sorts of conditions so you might wish to
check some of the back copies of the SUAD lists to call, and see, if some of
those I listed months ago have sold or not. *IMPORTANT:
After Jan 2003 I will be deleting lists over a year old, so you might wish

to pan, single piston brakes setup, most glass, some chrome, rear end, all
suspension, some AC, buckets, mint headliner, and more, was orig 401 AT Aug

**UPDATE** November 19th, 2002 ; I moved this car today, aired up the tires,
and pulled it back some, and will pull it into the driveway after
Thanksgiving where I will pull off a few more items and have it hauled away
finally.

I have two Gremlins coming in soon, one is a 1974, one is a 76, one is a "X"
edition, neither run, both are 258s, and not sure why neither run, only
looked at them for a few minutes and bought them both, I think they would
make drag cars or someone could go to pick a part and get a 258-6 for $89
and drop it in one and easily restore it. The 74 is goldish, the 76 is a
emerald green. I should have them here early December, have to make some
room on the side, and will offer photos at that time. I have no plans to
keep either and both will be promptly put up for sale, probably in the
$500-$600 range, depending upon further inspection.
