Happy Holidays to everyone. If you are considering a AMC vehicle for
Christmas or winter project, a great time to buy and pick up some bargains
while economy sucks rocks and toys have been dumped on the market with no
end in sight. Hopefully the economy will turn around somewhat in 2003 and
things will get back to normal but while it is like this, you should make
like Imelda Marcos in a shoe store or Wynona Ryder in Saks and load up on
your favorite model as times will not always be like this. Be sure to
remember some of the comments on the Shut Up & Drive header about parts, as
many items have indeed dried up and gone forever and these things need to be
taken into account when buying a vehicle that may need say, a grill for a 69
Javelin or other 'unobtainium' parts no longer available. This is the last
SUAD for 2002, be sure to contact the sellers directly for more info, photos
and whatnot. As usual, take your time, do not impulse buy, shop around, know
your codes, paints, VINs, and what the cars generally are worth in given

72 Ambassador SST 'gangsta wagon' 360V8, AT, AC, PS, PDB, 129K, 2way rear
tailgate, much original paperwork including AMC plastic
owner card, invoices, ect, bought from original owner. New items: Ford 2002
purple paint, tires, limosine tint, carb, starter, solenoid, fuel pump, just
installed factory AMC AM/FM radio with Jensen speakers, also have installed
NOS items like grill, tail lights and more. Driven daily. $2750. Scheduled
work to be done shortly: New trans;and HAS NEW dual exhausts w/flowmasters.

to pan, single piston brakes setup, most glass, some chrome, rear end, all
suspension, some AC, buckets, mint headliner, and more, was orig 401 AT Aug

**UPDATE** November 19th, 2002 ; I moved this car today, aired up the tires,
and pulled it back some, and will pull it into the driveway after
Thanksgiving where I will pull off a few more items and have it hauled away
finally. THIS CAR WAS HAULED AWAY TO SALVAGE DECEMBER 2002. Sadly it STILL
had complete suspension, most glass, the 360V8 with 401 heads, crossmembers,
complete disc brake setup, complete AC system, sets, headliner, doors,
fenders, most glass, so it still had a ton of parts, but I have been
advertising it for $300 for over a year, and while I had sold a item here
and there, I no longer had time to 'part it out' as I wanted to before
hauling it away. So it is history.
