Interesting amount of exposure in a variety of national auto rags like
Hemming's Muscle March 2004; Collectible Automobile, MuscleCar Enthusiast
lately also. Nice to see AMCs being recognized unfortunately it doesn't mean
squat for sellers. Few cars have been selling in what many of us like to
deem 'high dollar' that is, above $15K, but that is good news for buyers.
And that is really good news for those who are true enthusiasts of American
Motors vehicles. Hopefully some sale action will see all those bread and
butter cars like four doors and wagons and even some of the what I like to
call 'future collectibles' like Eagle and Pacer, hopefully those will
have a
spike in price but with the economy the way it is and millions of people out
of work (like I have been since August 2003) there simply is a ton of great
bargains out there and well, it has been for several years now with the
occasional 'spike' in prices from time to time, then it levels back out to
normal. So as usual, don't get a hard on thinking 'wow, those cars on ebay
are selling for a lot' as no, they are not, it is a lot of shill bidding to
drive up the price, that is why you see same cars listed over and over after
they had been 'sold' here is a NEW file on my website about 'ebay

horror stories' dealing with this ongoing problem!
So please folks just take your time, do not impulse buy, look
the car over
carefully before buying, know your codes, VINs (many of those can be found
under the "parts"
file here; and what not and good luck
and have FUN with whatever you end up with AMC!!
