Spring has sprung and so has gas prices at almost $3.00. Don't let that 
dissuade you from checking out some of the AMC Regional and National meets 
happening in your neck of the woods this summer. Really good time to buy a 
AMC, lots of exposure and lots of cars have seemed to have flooeded the 
market...with tons of bargains to boot. Why drive AMC? Why not? A good six 
cylinder powered AMC gets great gas mileage you know; whether a Rambler, 
Gremlin, Spirit, any of them. My 81 Eagle wagon with factory 4cylinder, 4spd 
gets 23mpg, and is a four wheel drive to boot. So consider picking up a AMC 
to drive and me "miserly" on gas, and stylish in too! Happy hunting, and 
before I go, my 69 Ambassador SST is still for sale (so much for that myth
