 Hi, I have a 1970 AMX originally from Ca. with matching 390 4sp set up. This car is so correct it still has orig date coded spark plug wires, orig 3 ribbed heater hoses orig carb and tag, engine tag and valve covers. If you are looking for a 70 AMX that needs restoring this is the car. Orig bittersweet orange with saddle vinyl int, tilt collum. This car has under 60K and runs. I have been running it out of a plastic jug as the car sat for 25+ years and gas tank will need to be cleaned out. Disc brakes, electric wipers,Ca. gas tank with vent into valve cover, all good glass with a super solid body. It has dents and will need paint. Right lower rear quarter has damage from a blown tire and the steel belt slapping the quarter. trunk, floors rockers,and gussets are mint. All seams on doors, trunk are mint.I also have clean Ca. title and the orig owner I.D card. 1969 AMC Ambassador SST 2 Dr. 65,000 original miles. It is a 343 4 barrel. Newer Edlebrock carb (factory 2 barrel). Automatic, a/c that works. Optima battery. Dual mirrors. Grey color/white vinyl top with charcoal bucket seat/center arm rest interior. The interior is mostly original except for the driver seat insert and the headliner fabric is missing. Dash has a crack and the radio grille is cracked but actually looks nice. There is some vinyl cracking on the top outsides of the front seats. Carpet is original and in do not replace condition. The front and rear brakes (drum) have been completely rebuilt. It has a newer exhaust with Flowmasters and sounds real nice. It had been repainted a while back by the previous owner. The details of the paint job could have been better. For example, they did not remove the mirrors before painting it. It is real good 10 footer. I bought the car out of Boise Idaho about 5 years ago. There is no rust. Undercarriage, trunk etc. are in solid original condition. The right quarter panel was repaired to due a minor accident some years ago. There is a bubble in front of the right rear wheel that was there when I bought the car due to the repair and has not worsened. The vinyl top needs to be replaced. I had a top replacement shop in Downers Grove IL. give me a price of $1300 to re-do the top back to original and replace the headliner fabric. The shop is Riggs Brothers which is the premier interior etc. shop in the Chicagoland area. They do the job right! I have driven the car in dry only conditions and have garage kept it. This car was always in Boise where the climate is not humid and there is no snow/salt. This is a very nice mostly original car that will not disappoint you. It’s the real deal. This actual car is featured on page 19 of the AMC Buyers guide by a previous owner John Hull. I am the 4th owner. I also have a very thick file of receipts etc. I see no problem with flying in and driving this car home to anywhere in the States. It runs beautiful. I flew into Boise, did the deal in the arrivals lane at the airport and drove it 1750 miles back to Chicago. $6500. jjocewicz@comcast.net . 847-922-4440. Joe. Here's what's left: Doors Right Fender Hood Gate with glass Windshield and quarter glass Dashboard Tail lights Wheel lip mouldings, belt mouldings, windshield reveal moulding I could even cut off the quarters if you need them. They are in good shape, probably best part of the car. 151 4 banger with 50,000 miles. Runs well. Feul tank is rusty on the outside, but does not leak. 1972 AMC Hornet Sportabout X, 258 six, automatic, air (disconnected), butterscotch gold color with dark tan interior, rally wheels, sport steering wheel. Heavy duty cooling (3 core V-8 radiator), later model power front disc brakes. The previous owner removed the original 1 barrel stuff and replaced it with 2 barrel items. I have the 1 barrel manifold and carb. I bought the car 2 years ago out of L.A. California. It was in L.A. all of it's life and I have the documentation to back it up along with some very detailed records from the original owner. This car has never been rusted or wrecked. It was painted about 7 years ago. The X stripe was not replaced. The body and interior are in amazing condition and the vehicle is near original. You will not be disappointed. There were not many 72 Sportabout X models made and not many left. All I have done with the car is show it on cruise nights in different Chicago suburbs throughout the summer. In the mid 60's AMC dealers installed after market AC units. Most used Mark IV Monitor units. I need some none mechanical parts for one of these units evaporator. For Sale 1966 American Convertible project, moving, must sell! Every corner has been replaced - both front fenders and both rear quarters - as well as floor pans, front and back. The hood has been replaced. All metal is rust-free and either in primer or in the original ""Robin's Egg Blue"" or in the new, Lexus “Teal”. All that remains is final sanding and paint - and I am even including the paint. If you can tell from the photos, you can see the quality of the work in the finished engine compartment and front panels. The paint is a pretty '94 Lexus color - 4745 PPG Teal Mist Poly. The included paint is enough for the whole car. The transmission was rebuilt back when I was driving the car, about 3,000 miles ago. The engine is a low-mileage 258 (50,000) from a 1980 Hornet, again beautifully detailed, with MSD ignition. New brake and fuel lines. New front suspension. New upholstery (done in Boston). Near new top. All the pieces are there and carefully packaged in Rubberneck bins or cardboard tubes. Both bumpers are included, one is straight and ready to re-chrome, the second is rebuildable. Even the complete factory TSM (Technical Service Manual) is included to simplify assembly. I drove the car off the trailer 8 years ago. It has remained there, in a heated garage, since. I am sorry I cannot remember the company since the St. Louis Wheel Store facilitated the work.  Howdy Fellow AMCer's!!! Been awhile since I posted. Anyway, I left my Pops junkyard for a few months and when I came back he had aquired a 1965 Marlin! It is a bucket seat/console car with a 327 4brrl engine. Unfortunitly it is a automatic-not the twin stick I was hoping for. The car is fairly complete. Rear end is out of the car, but cramed, or.. I mean.. GENTLY place inside the car. It appears that there is no back seat and a door panel or two are missing. There are two ""spiner"" Marlin hubcaps and two ""spiner"" rambler hub caps that came with this car. I've seen the Rambler ones, but never seen the Marlin ""spiner"" caps before. Some of yall maybe have. Just to get this out of the way, the Marlin trunk emblem is trashed! We will sell whole car or parts. Email or call with questions. Big Bad front Bumper Mldg. I have reproduced an EXACT Big Bad front bumper mldg. The first protype is done and the quality is perfect. They are being made in the USA from start to finish. I will have 2 versions, 1 with correct studs, and 1 with out in case you dont want to drill your bumper. This one will use 3m tape. I'm posting this add to try and see what kind of response I get for purchases so I have an idea of how many to run. Obviously the more I can run the cheaper the pricing will get. 1970 Hornet 2 door and a 1974 Wagon parts car. The sedan has one of the nicest bodys I've seen a long time. onverted to a 360 car with correct crossmember. No trans but I have a TH400 converted to 2 WD. or use the pedals from the wagon and build your SC/360 Clone. $2000 for both or I will part out the wagon and keep what i need to complete the 2 door.
