EL GATO NEGRO. Richard Dominguez called me recently about the late Margarito Garza's El Relampago, as he found my files about him on my site at Planet Houston AMX. Judge Garza was a well known, and friendly as hell judge in my hometown Corpus Christi in 1970s/80s, and had big comic book shop off McArdle behind the Circle K south of Airline.

Well Richard ALSO has a comic book character El Gato Negro (The Black Cat) who was prowling around south of Corpus Christi keeping streets clean of villains and criminals, mostly in Mission area! Judge Garza's El Relampago fought crime mostly in Corpus Christi & was America's first Mexican American comic book super hero. He also battled The Big Bird, (El Paraho Grande!) the big bird was carrying off Robstown Cotton Pickers right and left in 1970s.

So Richard mentioned a collection of his books, which can be found on Amazon.
